Featuring work across a range of media, the exhibition showcases recent acquisitions alongside signature works and reflects on the constant change and shifting narratives that mark our contemporary world and networked lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the current globalized, digitized ecology, contemporary artists observe, document, and reflect. Their voices and visions imagine what is possible and tell stories that expand our knowledge. They question, prompt, and call to action, while creating both beauty and criticism. The exhibited artworks ask us to ponder these real, virtual, and imagined spaces we find ourselves inhabiting today, and the moments, thoughts, and experiences that tell us about who we are and why we are here. Highlights in this gallery include works about our sense of self and identity such as&nbsp;<em>Sentinel IV (Gold)&nbsp;<\/em>by Simone Leigh, Fred Wilson\u2019s black glass mirror&nbsp;<em>I Saw Othello\u2019s Visage in His Mind<\/em>, and Maja Ruznic\u2019s painting&nbsp;<em>Daughter (Red).<\/em>&nbsp;Large scale works by Chiho Aoshima, Carrie Mae Weems, and Wolfgang Tillmans consider relationships to place, another prominent theme. These spaces range from 1 \u2013 4 hours and can be paid for using a credit card or the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/parkingkitty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parking Kitty app<\/a>. There are also surface parking lots, and parking garages within 1 \u2013 4 blocks of the Museum. The closest surface lot is located at SW Main St. between SW 10th Ave. and Park Ave, and there are dedicated accessible and van accessible spaces. This lot accepts credit card or the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/reef-mobile-parking-made-easy\/id1502843483\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reef app<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public transit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting to get to the Museum by public transportation is straightforward and economical.
